And then mounting the component parts on the inside! 



Still to do : 

- Order CB Mic Clips
- Order splitter cable for audio
- Order RJ45 parts
- Cut holes in the box
- Test!

The excess cables are because of the extra length on the Motorola adapter. Can't be helped - so it's a little messy, but all things considered it's not too bad.

 - Holes drilled ( I NEED A LASER )  - Mic interfaces mounted & tested ( I CAN'T SOLDER FOR SHIT )  - USB cables installed & tested - Tested as a system ... IT WORKS All that's left is to mount the microphone clips.  NOTE : Powered mics are LOUDER than non powered ones, adjust mic gain accordingly.

CB Microphone : $30 Adafruit QT Py RP2040 : $10 USB cable : $3 4 pin mic connector ( 4 pack ) : $8 USB sound card : $7 USB Hub : $4 ----------------------------------------- Total $ 62 Best price pre made : $180 Extreme price pre made : $300 ( with button box and other controllers to be fair ) Now can it be improved? Yes. Project box, better wiring / clean up , some shrink tubing and all that ... but that comes next! For now it works!
